This luxurious, privately owned hotel is housed in a carefully preserved and sensitively renovated Georgian residence. Many of the building’s beautiful original features and characteristics have been thoughtfully retained and restored, yet the structure has also been sympathetically extended and thoroughly refurbished to integrate the contemporary comforts and facilities demanded by the discerning modern traveller. At the heart of the building is the atrium with its stunning, original, cantilever staircase and equally amazing bookcase. Here you can put your feet up with a good book or keep in touch, via the subtly concealed computers provided for your use. Access for disabled guests, wheelchair users and those with reduced mobility is provided, with a number of suitable rooms available. A lift offers access to 24 of the hotel’s 32 rooms.
The restaurant closes at 20:30 on Sundays.
Breakfast is available from 07:30 until 09:30 and dinner is served from 18:00 until 20:30. The Piano Restaurant offers an elegant and refined atmosphere, as well as delicious cuisine made with fresh, locally sourced, seasonal produce. The Piano Bar offers a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in stylish and relaxing surroundings, which artfully combine the historic with the contemporary.
Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.
